Design and Sketch

  • Kristina will meet with you and ask you in detail about your preferences and idiosyncrasies, so that she can better understand you and design the perfect dress for you. 
  • After listening to you, and visually assessing your skin tone, bodily shape, height, coloring, dance personality, dance partner height, etc., Kristina will make her Haute Couture suggestions in terms of silhouettes, color scheme, fabrics, textures, Swarowski crystals, feathers, beads, fringe and sequins, among others, that will best complement you on the dance floor. 
  • Kristina will then draw a sketch for you (Kristina has been commissioned on various occasions to produce fashion sketches as a piece of Fine Art. Please, let Kristina know whether you might be interested in having your dress painted or drawn to a particular size. Usual mediums Kristina likes to work with are Watercolor, Color pencils, Ink, Markers and Mixed Media on a high-end paper). Sketches are available for purchase.

Fitting

  • Kristina will take your detailed measurements and schedule your first fitting. 
  • Kristina will personally source your fabrics, trimmings, Swarovski Crystals and additional decorations in the famous Fashion District in the heart of New York City.
  • Highly skilled European seamstresses will work around the clock to construct your Haute Couture dress. These seamstresses have years of training and experience in the NYC Theater Industry, producing gowns and costumes for Broadway Shows, The Metropolitan Opera and Lincoln Center, amongst others. 
  • You will have your first personalized fitting. This is a great time to dance and move in the dress. Feel free to give Kristina your feedback about your comfort level and esthetic impression of your dress. All of your comments will be taken into careful consideration, and all adjustments will be made to meet and exceed your expectations. 

Detail and Debut

  • After completing the construction stage, your dress will be headed to the decorative department, where experienced staff will be covering your dress with Swarovski crystals, beads, feathers and/or any other materials agreed upon in the first stages. 
  • Shortly after you can expect to welcome your DREAM DRESS!
